The Village provided me with the opportunity to take on a very large change management project as an analyst and senior analyst. As I gained change management skills and worked with teammates across the Village, I realized that I found fulfillment in helping others develop and display their potential. This led me to pursue learning and development roles within the Village, ultimately culminating with my current role on the Redwoods team. I love what I do and would not have discovered the area of learning and development had I not joined the Village as a Redwoods analyst.

The most impactful portions of the Redwoods program were the trainings at the start of the program that enabled me to launch my career with confidence and the relationships I built across the Village due to the cohort experience. These relationships have impacted my development, improved my skillset and opened up new opportunities within the Village.

My advice for candidates is to embrace growth mindset and focus on developing your skills through hard work, good strategies and input from others!

I graduated from Stanford University with a degree in human biology.

Fun fact: I was on the women's rowing team at Stanford and was part of the team that won a National Championship in 2009.
